1986 Reunion -- Erie, Pennsylvania

1988 Reunion -- Erie, Pennsylvania

June 27. 2007

There is much to be done on this website, so much more work that I want/need to do. But for now I offer it "as is" for your information and enjoyment. Someday, when my health improves, I'll get back to work on it. If you have any family pictures you would like to donate to the family history, please send them on to me, either via email or snailmail. (See street address below.)

If you are a member of this family, be it by blood, marriage, or adoption, your information is vital to this history. Also, I'm very interested in any anecdotes you may be willing to have added to the database. If you have info to send me about yourself or your family, click here for the great family data form which you can fill out online. Even if you have very little information, it may be key to something I'm tracking. When you're done, just click Submit and the form will be sent to me. Hurrah!     :o)   :-)

The database is well organized and I can search it, so if you have any questions about your roots, send me a message.

Return to Front Door

The frame on the Front Door randomly displays different family images. Mostly those images portray family members who have passed, although there are exceptions. (Pressing your Refresh key (F5) on the Front Door will cause rotation through the images.) Soon it will be that when you click on the picture a popup window will show their ID, dates, locations, and so on.

Hey - how 'bout that car?

The child is Beatrice Viola WISE, born 1906 and still going strong.
The woman sitting to the right is her mother, Flossie Pearl SMITH,
1885-1951. The woman standing is Flossie's mother, Mary Jane (Jennie) BURR, 1868-1928. Mary Jane's mother is the woman sitting
to the left. Her name is Angeline Victoria BROWN, 1843-1923.

Angeline was a full-blooded Native American Indian. I am seeking any
information about her. I have tentatively identified her Indian Nation
as the Oneida tribe from New York (and other states). Have some data on her parents, but need more. Also looking for info on her siblings.

The Hookless Fastener Company originated in Meadville, Pennsylvania in the early 1900s. They manufactured the very first zippers. The man sitting on the ground in the lower left is Arthur James Thomas, my father. He was a tool and die maker for the company. (The company name was changed to Talon, Inc.)
